My natural tendency to not trust led me to Bitcoin.

Others run when they see the price swing 10% in a few hours – then come back when things settle.

But price and volatility are just noise. Yeah, it’s nice when the number goes up, but that’s not what truly draws me to Bitcoin. For a long time, I couldn’t quite put my finger on what did.

I find comfort in knowing Bitcoin keeps working, exactly as intended, no matter who says what or what people value it at.

Bitcoin is an engine. It keeps purring while the world panics.

I think I finally get it. In a world which can be full of disappointment, letdowns, instability, lies, and selfishness – Bitcoin provides truth and reliability.

#Bitcoin will be there, endlessly doing its thing, no matter what. You can forget about it, come back years later, and it’s still there, producing blocks, verifying truth.

Everything in life comes and goes. Bitcoin will always be there… time after time.

It’s really great to see others having come to the same conclusion and thought process.

I’ve heard and read some of philosophical thoughts from folks like nostr:npub1hk0tv47ztd8kekngsuwwycje68umccjzqjr7xgjfqkm8ffcs53dqvv20pf and nostr:npub1rtlqca8r6auyaw5n5h3l5422dm4sry5dzfee4696fqe8s6qgudks7djtfs but honestly that part of Bitcoin was always kind of w/e to me.

But now I get where they are coming from even more.

To be honest though, I’ll never be able to tell this to anyone I know IRL because they’ll think I’m going insane having spiritual awakenings over c++ code. They’ll be like “bro wtf are you talking about. Are you going for Chiefs or Eagles?” lol

My whole essay and film titled “The Legendary Treasure of Satoshi Nakamoto” started off with the title “Bitcoin Is Spiritual Awakening.” It was my attempt to explain to anyone why Bitcoin causes spiritual awakenings. Have you read/seen it?

I actually did watch it a few months ago but honestly, it didn't resonate at the time (or I got distracted, which happens frequently).

I'll have to watch it again, will try to do tonight or tomorrow and report back.

"Bitcoin is a spiritual awakening" would have been an equally good title. Although some might have been turned away thinking there would be religious content.

Just watched again.

It is very good. I’d say ideal for those looking to learn.

I think what threw me off originally (and again this time), was parts 1 and 2 are very Bitcoin 101. Having spent years watching countless podcasts and interviews, I’m tired of the basics lol.

Part 3 resonated the most followed by part 4. Purity of money is a good way to explain it.

I think what I’ve come to realize is, everyone’s journey is different and people get it in their own way, when it’s the right time for them. I don’t consider myself very spiritual or philosophical so maybe that’s why it took me a while to see Bitcoin from this particular angle.

To me it seems like Bitcoin has at least three angles.

- The underlying tech (all systems and components of the Bitcoin engine, think Antonopolous, nostr:npub1wnlu28xrq9gv77dkevck6ws4euej4v568rlvn66gf2c428tdrptqq3n3wr and nostr:npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8).

- The monetary and investment angle (the journey of understanding money and why this is a valid investment, think nostr:npub1cj94enk44kn5mvrcma4sp7jnlsgnn4em7rk3dh3jt4fzyqs3m02s560efa, nostr:npub1d3f4m9dgvkdjxn26pqzsxn6lpfn78sxwllxyt8mp76q0a9zyyjlswhr4xv, nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a and nostr:npub15dqlghlewk84wz3pkqqvzl2w2w36f97g89ljds8x6c094nlu02vqjllm5m )

- The spiritual and revolutionary angle. The spiritual angle is much less explored but the revolutionary angle gets covered a bit more by people like nostr:npub1hk0tv47ztd8kekngsuwwycje68umccjzqjr7xgjfqkm8ffcs53dqvv20pf nostr:npub1rtlqca8r6auyaw5n5h3l5422dm4sry5dzfee4696fqe8s6qgudks7djtfs nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx.

Personally, I started off in both the tech and investment angle (number go up). A little more on the tech side as I tried to understand how it worked under the hood. I then got more curious about the monetary side of it and not just thinking it was another stock. And it took a long time to get to this spiritual angle, which I’m not even sure spiritual is the right word for it.

Anyway, keep up the great work. Will have to go through your content little by little. Incredible how much I have yet to discover, it’s a seemingly an endless journey.

For whatever reason it didn’t quite click until just now. Even though I instinctively knew it was right for me, I didn’t know exactly why. Like a missing puzzle piece I was finally able to locate.

Strange to feel this way about a system that won’t feel the same way back. lol
