About 5 days of groceries for $55 USD (75 CAD)

Is this considered expensive or am I out of touch?

feels expensive, specially because of the amount of chicken

A kilo of chicken shouldn't cost more than $10 I think...

that amount of eggs is like $4 here

i think it'd be like $35-40 over here everything added up

Skim milk is gross.

Divide it by the number of meals you can make with it

Maybe like 10 so $5.5/meal? Very high protein

Thatโ€™s a good deal. You canโ€™t buy a restaurant meal in the US for less than $10 anywhere.

Looks similar to UK - about ยฃ40 worth.

I'd need a lot more bananas

A good price on chicken used to be $8.80/kg CDN.

Thatโ€™s long gone now!

Inflation has brought us to this! You don't go down to pre-covid price levels anymore ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

The food costs the same. The currency lost it's value.

Prices will go higher. Buy the dip ๐Ÿ˜„

WELL YOU WILL PROBABLY BE EUTHANIZED BEFORE THE FOOD RUNS OUT SO WHO CARES

Wow okay

Name checks out.

SORRY THIS WAS A CANADA JOKE GONE BAD ๐Ÿ˜‘

It's just transitory expensive. 55$ will feel cheap a few months from now ๐Ÿคก
