I got it.
In the early days I was also the one walking into rooms (without adequate PPE) having to treat people with a viral illness we didn’t know shit about while most of America was safely working from home. Hell, I think I had patient numero uno at one hospital.
Also had to watch many people die from COVID and COVID-related complications. It was heartbreaking.
By the time people make it to me they’re too sick to get any vaccines so I don’t sling those.
That being said, the one silver lining that came out of COVID is the innumerable number armchair virologists and epidemiologists that were created.
It’s funny though. Not one of these armchair warriors were in the shit with me. 🤷♂️
