The only name that is valid is the one I currently have. It is not written anywhere, and it changes, and it resides in the hearts of my family.
The rest are utilitarian and used for a variety of purposes.

I agree. Names, like people, should be able to undergo metamorphosis. We are not static people. We are always changing. Growing or dying. Never static.
