Lol, we did 30,000 steps per day for 4 days and came back 4lbs heavier. I feel betrayed.

How about your eating habits? You are probably having much more calories than you should.
Is 4 croissants a day too bad?
Could be water retention or some other imbalance if your body isnt used to that.
