I like amethyst, it's the best on Android but it's a very different design from IOS that you can't stick with and force yourself to use because you have to!

It’s nice to see many colleagues talking well or reasonably well about #Amethyst for Android. I have IOS, so I use #Primal that runs super well here on my old device, and #Damus.
What annoys you the most?
Feeling is like windows XP and too many emojis is breaking my head over. Only zaps mode would fix the second. But yeah re design is needed

Click on the title. It opens down and shows more details about the group/community/chat you are in.

It helps new users to get connected to folks, ask questions, talk about life. It's a community for ourselves. :)
But yes, I assume you are using the FDroid version. Without automated translations it's just a bunch of things you can't read 🫤

Any way. I guess you need to think about design. It's feels old school and not beautiful. That's why I downloaded Damus back on iOS
Yeah, I am always there. Most of the chats are not spam, just regular people talking about the stuff they care about.
Frankly, we never had design work. Everything you see was made by devs. The only design help we got was on the app's icon and the follow/hash/nip5 verification icons. So.. lots of work to do yet.

Amethyst is awesome, easy to use and what is really important, it is better with every update.
