Muun isn't a lightning wallet. It's a fee siphoning on-chain only scam wallet. Their relay fees through their lightning node, plus the on-chain swap fees are so high, that most lightning wallets, companies and services like #robosats won't/can't send payments to a muun wallet because their fees are so high.

Any Bitcoin that hasn't been swapped to you on-chain, is custodial on their lightning node. All lightning payments received, are received to their lightning node and in their custody until you pay on-chain fees to swap it to your on-chain only muun wallet.

And it's closed source. You're literally using an insecure custodial wallet who's devs have lied to you and told you it's a non-custodial lightning wallet. You really shouldn't trust liars with your Bitcoin.

If you're going to use a custodial wallet, use Strike or Wallet of Satochi. At least they don't fee siphon so you can actually use them. And they don't lie to you about the nature of their service.

Or use a real lightning wallet like LND on your phone and Zeus or Breeze or Blixt as the UX. They all use LND+Neutrino on phones so you get a real, private, non-routing lightning node on mobiles.

I don't wanna use strike or Cash App to buy my gift cards and all that. What should I use?

You only have two non-custodial wallet choices for mobile. Phoenix which uses phoenixd as its backend, or Zeus, Blixt or Breeze which all use LND as their backend.

Phoenixd or LND, they're your only two choices for non-custodial lightning on a mobile.

Your only other option is to setup a full node on an old pc or new mini-pc at home that you access remotely. You'll then have a dozen different choices.

#Albyhub, LND, CLN, phoenixd and many more.

If you want a really simple solution, get one of those mini-pc's, install Albyhub and use #AlbyGo on your mobile that will connect to your Albyhub remotely. You'll get an easy NWC connection for nostr using Albyhub. None of the other lightning options have built-in NWC.

Im on zues. You got me. I get it thank you. For reals

theres also bitkit for mobile, its based on LDK. Seems really promising, its similar to breez in how it works, but LDK is a lot more slim to run in the backend and it results "smooth as phoenix" (still it doesnt have splicing, its a full bitcoin wallet and lightning node).

I’m using it. Learn more about too.

Zues has problems i always see people complaining about zues and they expensive

Zeus is free. And open source . You can verify the code yourself. LND is free. And open source. You can verify the code yourself.

What do you mean by expensive? Like, it's free. No charge. Nada. You pay nothing.

Whomever told you that Zeus is expensive, you should ignore them. They are really stupid and you'll lose your Bitcoin if you take advice from someone that ignorant. They either know nothing about how lightning works, or they intentionally lied to you so you'd use a scam wallet.

I mean to open channels.

Im get on zues now i have 24 words from like a year ago from zues

The only cost to open a channel is the on-chain fees you pay to miners.

They have nothing to do with what lightning wallet you are using. All lightning wallets will pay the same fees to open a channel at any point in time.

If on-chain fees are high, it's expensive to open channels. That has nothing to do with what wallet you use. You still pay those same fees with Muun. Muun is cheap at the moment because on-chain fees are cheap. It's also very cheap to open channels at the moment. So, now's the time to setup a new node and open some channels no matter what lightning wallet you are using.

Breeze keep telling me its in beta
