Where are you getting stuck? Which software?
Been getting stuck at basically each step.
I think I've managed to do it. Didn't realize that umbrel has different apps for the same function. Was trying to use LND with RTL core

I am not familiar with doing it via Umbrel.
I’ve set it up vanilla on a computer. It def took some steps including compiling Bitcoin core to accept ZeroMQ connections etc. I bookmarked the articles on my set up and steps. Def not plug and play (outside of the appliances or maybe not so much from what I’m hearing).
Umbrel no good? Was planning to try myself but not yet done so...
Guess it depends on your abilities. Had to learn how to install a Linux OS. Find DL and install a driver to get Ubuntu to recognize my wifi card. Install umbrel from terminal. Do this all over again because I didnt realize my URL was one of the very last lines when installing in terminal and you have to copypasta before closing terminal or its gone. Figure out what apps to install. Learn there are two different RTL apps and two different lighting node apps that coincide with a specific RTL. Fund the LND onchain.
Now I need to try to find some good channels to open.
