Then zap instead of liking a note.

There is no reason for a like on nostr as there are no algorithms. When we inevitably do get algos on nostr, I’d like them built around the notion of value.

How do you think algos will get around ppl pumping their own shit with alt accounts?

Likes don't cost anything that's why zaps would be the filtration method for an algo.

Agree in part. I think zaps should be a user filter to filter their engagement levels. Not sure how this should look, but I think Bitcoin was meant for it.
