"Reranking social media feeds to reduce exposure to posts expressing anti-democratic attitudes" 😂

They are right that there are many alternatives to the "algorithm". It's not either or, and algorithms can be very different. There is very little point in mixing together too many opposites in the same "room" and have them fight together.

Like this new "Divine" (Vine) app on Nostr. They decided that they want to police content on Nostr by reporting any AI content, "copyright infringements" and misinformation that hits their relay and do so by "extending" the Nostr protocol.

If we implement the outbox model for everything, or most things on Nostr, then we get the Internet we want. All we need is discovery/indexer relays that hosts one thing, and one thing only: The relay list of each public key. This information should not be censored, it is basically "DNS for Nostr".

Then anyone can spin up their own relays anywhere, at home, on their laptops or at any cloud provider. No matter where they publish their events, they can be easily and quickly discoverable through the discovery/indexer relays.

Isn't it already there, on X, Facebook etc?
