If inflation is 3% then we have an entire economy colluding and price gouging… lots of companies breaking the law at the expense of the American consumer.

I can’t speak to .xyz but as to .com, the registry (Verisign) under its government regulated monopoly contract with presumptive right of renewal gets to increase prices 7% in 4 out of 6 contract years. Due to the strength of the .com brand, they take the increase every time.
