I think I was something like this,
Swan use Fortress Trust (formerly Prime Trust), Ripple (early
Investor of Fortress Trust) acquired Fortress Trust, right after Fortress had some kind of security issue where one of their larger customers had a breach and lost funds (don’t know the full details of that part)
Sounds pretty close to what I have been hearing. I don’t use them I have but just to compare to strike and their fees. They actually were better on the spread I did 10$ transactions as fast as possible twice and both times just by a few hundred sats swan was “cheaper”
Ripple does look like the bigger player in this tho.. it is kinda sus. I will find out the details.. “or what is out there for us to see”
