They try that shit in Houston. Tolls to get on I-10, no obvious singage until it's too late, no toll booths, no clear alternates for folks not from the area, they just mail you a bill later.

Tolls can't count against license points here. So I and everyone at TXDOT will die of old age before they extract that gotcha tax. They have wasted far more in postage for all the letters my postman lost in a boating accident.
