They said they would take away their welfare payments only if they block the streets (not if they go on sidewalks or parks)

Also, you might not understand the particular situation we have with that, where welfare payments are an industry with a few intermediaries who manage the sheep to use protests as a blackmailing mechanism.

So the government will start to make direct payments to people instead to cut out the intermediaries.

They have also 2x'd the amount these people will receive.
