Yes, absolutely right!

A good detoxification every so often is good: physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally.

I see from both ends of the life cycle. As a hospice chaplain, I see where older people have not taken care of their bodies, eaten badly for years, etc; then as a high school softball coach I see the girls use all of these dangerous cosmetics for the illusion of “beauty”. What we put in our bodies and homes definitely has an impact on the here and now, but especially on our future. Also, It takes intentionality and effort to live clean. Many aren’t willing to make the sacrifice, even though it’s just plain smart.
