Alright, #asknostr.

I’ve watched dozens of YouTube videos and tried plenty different methods but still cannot perfect it - how do I cook a perfect fried egg?

I’ve used nonstick and stainless feel pans and played with warming the pan before yet still struggle half the time.

My biggest issues are smoking oil and the egg still sticking to my pan. I prefer to avoid butter if I can thanks to some gallbladder issues but ultimately just want a tried and true method for not getting frustrated with an egg sticking to my pan.

So stainless steel? Nonstick? Medium heat, low heat or high heat?

- Stainless steel, the superior cooking ware

- High heat until drops of water will slide around instead of evaporating on impact

- Cover surface with your preferred oil. I like coconut oil

- Reduce heat by around a third

- Drop the eggs in and wait

- Move pan away from the heat source when eggs are almost done

- Wait until eggs are done

- Enjoy fried eggs
