*I'll do demo at some point*
Create a NIP-5
example
- pleb@nostr.fun
Create a ⚡address from #cashu wallet
(only ones I know of so far below)
- pleb@minibits.cash
- pleb@npub.cash
Done

Would the owner of a NIP-05 be able to anything malicious?
Technically yes since NIP-5 &⚡addresses are just a redirect for someones npub & ⚡wallet (domain owner owns any "user @webapp .com"
But probability is so so low its a non-issue for me, getting someone started
True. I just worry while it may be more private than Lightning, its not more private overall. Im not sure exactly what is a better tradeoff. I suppose if you have you own NIP-05, that would make it safest.
Most ppl don't self host their own ⚡ wallets anyway, let alone actually use those funds.
So the tradeoff is using custodial LN wallet, exchange etc., v. using someone's mint
At least the mint operator can't see your transactions per user account; custodial LN can
