I bought it from the get go so I don't know Nostr without it. I only use 5 or 6 relays, but I can tell you I get almost no spam or unwanted content.

i have a question? when i attempt to zap on damus it does not let me, as if the click didnt register, any idea why?

Apple made Damus remove the ability to zap.

I haven't tried it yet myself, but it seems that someone built a work around with https://www.zapplepay.com/

Apple Store banned Damus zaps :).

You can only zap on the profile.
