I wish you the best... in a world full of lies , rot, and deceit it must be a hard profession.
But I would add, a person's career is not ideal for making friends. It can happen but its not the main goal. But if you produce great work, be honest, convicted, and strong you will always have friends.
Get a hobby and don't befriend work relations (say no to after work drinks). Not easy but simple. Love your work also.
