Apart from the podcast, when did you begin your journey?🤔❓

Well since finding bitcoin in 2021 I've began diving down into the broader spectrum. Id say about 2022 is when the philosophy aspect of libertarian/ancap/ freedom really began to peak my interest.

I just couldn't understand why is it that is never heard of ANY of these people before. Why do others think freedom is so extreme? I began to really think of people just became more exposed to the ideas that it wouldn't be seem so extreme.

Then one day i was arguing with nuts on twitter one day over immigration (before the USA immigration really became front and center) was called a communist, told unfettered immigration is bad etc. It really stuck with me for days. I couldn't understand how people believed these ideas.

So i thought well what can i do to help people get more exposure ( and myself to read more about so i could better articulate the arguments) nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev was a pivotal part of my bitcoin journey. So i thought well why don't i do what he did for bitcoin articles, but instead do it for philosophy on freedom. If anything itll help me gain a better understanding and it might help others who don't have the time to read them.

So thats how it started. Yeah can't believe it's been a year of reading and learning.

Thanks for filling me in on your background. Good for you, both for ongoing learning AND for sharing the knowledge via podcast.

I guess relatively speaking I'm an OG. I've been actively an "enemy of the state," as part of the Tax Honesty Movement, since the early 1990's. It's taken me a lifetime (70+ years) to reach my current state of understanding.

I'm glad and not at all surprised to hear that about Minnaar.😃 I've known him for more than a decade. It probably won't surprise you that I received my first bitcoin from him in payment for a lunch during a Libertopia conference long ago.😆

More BTC adoption is always welcome but it saddens me to hear what caused it for you was a desire to apologize for globalism. It’s especially sad you do with by perverting the freedom philosophy into one of punishing victims of taxation by forced integration with the third world.

What the hell are you going on about? Tf I've never said shit about globalism, if you're speaking about immigration is pretty simple.

Either you're free to move about as you wish, or you're not. Seeing as it's pretty simple that if you're must seek permission from another individual in order to do something, it follows logically that you're a slave in some form or another if you're not able to live where your wish.

So the scenario in which you speak of is ACTUALLY one where individuals (most of whom dont consent) under taxation see their taxes misallocated to serve a regimes agenda to bring in voters. So is this ACTUALLY an immigration problem OR IS IT ACTUALLY a GOVERNMENT problem? Seems you need to think about these problems more deeply than to just blindy accuse another that values the freedom of choice above all else.

In a society in which taxation doesnt occur, and funds arent distributed arbitrarily to such ways. Do you really think this many individuals would willy nilly come to the same place? It would make 0 sense for any majority of people to move in such ways. The incentives in place are what motivate those that do what they do to do so.

So before you get your panties in a bunch of something so ignorantly stated think about the problem much deeper than PEOPLE FROM OTHER PLACE BAD, I HATE OTHER PEOPLE COME TO MY PLACE. do better , be better.

And if you ACTUALLY READ the whole post instead of getting psyopd to be triggered by the word immigration youd see i was into bitcoin BEFORE i was into learning about the philosophy of freedom.
