Just started listening to this podcast because of this recc. First episode I pick, mind blown: seeds contain living microorganisms. They aren’t just coated in them, they CONTAIN them.

And my mind filled with all kinds of thoughts, like:

I bet we’re losing so much diversity there, too.

Yet another way I’m sure conventional agriculture with its heavy sprays and artificial fertilizers is having a profound effect on our crops and health.

I suppose this is another reason buying local seed stock is extremely important.

I want to learn best practices for fostering rich soil life so that I can be part of the solution and provide good seeds to my community.
