In fact, if you pay attention, at the end, they cut the scene before dismantling the motor, that's the tell. They hid batteries in it. For the entire duration of the video, except for the end. Pretty simple illusion.

As the end where? I see no obvious place where batteries would be hidden, they took apart the whole motor...

They cut before taking apart the motor, that's the tell. Two different scenes. The end was probably filmed BEFORE the rest of the tape.
