Possibly, but at this point Twitter is irrelevant. They’ll probably hold on to their centralized power until we take it from them.
Seems to me like a bifurcation is happening.
Elon’s stated goal is to make Twitter into a content creator platform where creators can eventually get paid and make payments. He’s spoken highly of WeChat, is creating tiered access and expanded the character limit.
Nostr is going in a different direction. Instead of a walled garden like Twitter, nostr/Bitcoin is an open ecosystem.
The beautiful thing about nostr is nobody can buy it out, and no amount of lobbying or government violence can stop it. Nostr has already won 🤙
Couldn't agree more. Twitter has become just another corporate funded surveillance network like Instagram and TikTok.
