If everybody had access to stoning then yes. Agreed
But what if war was a 1 vs 1 stoning. Like when russia declared war to Ukraine, we simply put Zelenskyy and Putin in an arena with rocks. Whoever comes out alive wins. Much less casualties. Also much less incentive for the leaders to declare war
