Before you begin:

Prune less than 30% of the canopy tree at a time. Gather your pruning shears and saws. Clean and sanitize tools with soapy water and alcohol before pruning, every time you move from one tree to another, and again when finished with pruning.

Paint elmer’s glue diluted with water over large wounds on the tree to help seal and heal them.
