I’ve been thinking a lot recently about what types of new business models are going to be enabled by the Nostr protocol.
Anyone else out there thinking about this?

yes 👀
I think a lot is going to be autonomous that wasn't possible previously.
I think I know but what do you mean by autonomous?
Things can just run themselves because the protocol supports so much more than previously possible.
Example: for payouts in #[3] i was able to make it automatically pay the user because they have a lightning address in their profile. If they don't or it fails I can automatically dm them a support ticket. This was super easy to add because of how simple nostr is.
Ahh so programmability. Got it.
Does #[3] make anything? Or do you envision it making anything in the future?
Sorry was trying to paste the @nostrillionaire key 😂
The reason I ask is because being autonomous and more peer to peer means that there are potentially fewer business opportunities (which usually consist of being intermediaries of some sort).
Yeah, definitely 💯 especially the enabler aspect of nostr
“Enabler aspect” meaning how it enables social media interaction without an intermediary? Or something different?
enabling social media interaction without intermediaries is definitely one aspect. Also though in respect to the protocol capability/resource enabling businesses to grow / play in different unexplored areas. I keep thinking about retailing and how this protocol can connect the customers (stakeholder) and point of sale with lightning as method of payment. For example, it was so cool, I was able to buy 3 tees from
#[3] all the way from Australia, through a nostr iOS client Damus introducing me to their business. That to me is just so cool :)
