We both still ate meat, but we ate a lot of the junk food also. We weren't fully aware of how Type 2 Diabetes worked and unfortunately most doctors give terrible advice which makes the T2D worse and not better. So once we realized that was the CKD cause and were able to reverse T2D then the CKD started to fix itself as well. All super interesting stuff that the carnivore diet helps with a ton.
