well, I don't think money revealing any aspect of one's true nature says anything about whether that revelation will or won't be cathartic in a meaningful, positive way, as that's a personal choice, but it probably does make the internal work a bit harder, which is a good thing in terms of neurological rewards mechanisms.

having everything and anything you want anytime you want it isn't good for spiritual growth or self-discipline, imo.

perhaps being deeply and intensely challenged makes one far more appreciative of all that they do have as a necessary precedent for getting what they truly need.
