well, I don't think money revealing any aspect of one's true nature says anything about whether that revelation will or won't be cathartic in a meaningful, positive way, as that's a personal choice, but it probably does make the internal work a bit harder, which is a good thing in terms of neurological rewards mechanisms.
having everything and anything you want anytime you want it isn't good for spiritual growth or self-discipline, imo.
perhaps being deeply and intensely challenged makes one far more appreciative of all that they do have as a necessary precedent for getting what they truly need.

It changes the person, even if you don't notice it yet, having money is good, you have health with that, good food, services and other stuff, but the people think they can treat you like a worm just because they buy the last iphone or something like that, I just want the money for help to take care of my mother, I can't live without her and I just want to see her happy

Money brings power. Power brings freedom. Freedom brings decentralized decisions .
Money doesn't change a person.
It alters the kinds of options available to them,
enabling them to make choices they couldn't have made before.
It increases the domain of the adjacent possible, again and again, relative to their choices.
It increases the opportunity for people around them to see what kinds of choices they tend to make relative to their wealth.
And therefore makes it easier to perceive what that rich person is like through their actions.
