Money doesn't change a person.
It alters the kinds of options available to them,
enabling them to make choices they couldn't have made before.
It increases the domain of the adjacent possible, again and again, relative to their choices.
It increases the opportunity for people around them to see what kinds of choices they tend to make relative to their wealth.
And therefore makes it easier to perceive what that rich person is like through their actions.
