If you only focus on NGU (number go up) there’s a decent chance your Bitcoin will eventually be restricted, lost, or stolen.

If you focus on FGU (freedom go up) you’re much more likely to hang onto your stack in a self sovereign way, and I believe you’ll likely see even more NGU over time as a consequence.

I think you have it backwards tbh. NGU is the big incentive driver. Obviously if NGU is the sole focus it's not great, but the "come for the gains, stay for the revolution" mantra really hits here IMO.
