My friend has one of these. Dr said sea salt doesn’t contain iodine, and we need it for our central nervous system.

I wonder if we get enough salt from other foods? Another rabbit hole to go down!

Probably depends on one’s diet. We do need some salt but I generally use about 1/4 of what’s called for in a recipe.

The best way to get iodine is to eat seaweed or take it as a supplement

I grew up eating seaweed so it’s kinda comforting to see it in regular grocery stores these days.
