In chatting with folks from psy-gym this type of tinnitus is very common. The ringing/screeching can get especially strong and loud at times when we most need to pay attention. In that group the language we use is that the angels or guides are near when we hear that. (There's a lot of overlap in stories of angels, aliens, fairies etc. and I think that all names are describing similar other dimensional entities. Passport to Magonia is a very interesting book on this theory.)

I've heard it at times throughout my life, but this year it is so often to the point of getting annoying unfortunately. Because I am a very mature person, my first response was to mercilessly tease my friends on the other side, "Are y'all tone deaf? Oh I have a song request, high G with unvaried frequency for an indefinite period of time! Yep, that's the one keep it up!"

Normally they are unimpressed with my humor, or at least ignore it. Sometimes they respond with their own type of humor (I called my friend a bitch once and she had all of my devices looping the start of a song that went "don't call me a bitch if you can't afford shit" for about two days straight. She thought that was hilarious and I do not call her names anymore.)

But this time it was a very different vibe, almost like a sadness or jealousy. That the music we think of as angelic, that beautiful choir, that's not angels that's literally human music. Because we have tongues and fingers and can make instruments that manipulate sound, it is a great privilege of being in this material world. In the higher dimensions the music they can make is just one note high frequency.

It's why we're such an important part of the plurality of the existential chorus. It's part of why being human is such a blessing 🥰
