Then they are complete and total idiots. The instant a social media network built on Nostr that can transact instantly using USDC or USDT, every other social media app out there will hear a giant sucking sound while their users vacate and abandon ship.
USDC is on which chains?
Most of them, from what I can tell. I see X posts from Circle all the time saying they've added a USDC token on this or that base chain.
And I saw a few weeks ago that USDT had created a token on the Bitcoin Omni Layer. It's just a matter of time before USDC follows along with however many others.

Are there tokens in Lightning? I know there was noise about it back in 2021, but I haven't seen anything about them actually launching a parallel to ERC-20 on the Lightning Network yet. What am I missing?
That's what I'm asking. Because Bitcoiners always talking about Tether etc but I've never managed to find Tether on lightning so I am confused. Which chain is it on? Please name the major ones. Also how does it get used to buy Bitcoin? I know some dude was making noise about it in 2021 but I didn't manage to find anything.
I don't think they exist. I know they're in a test phase on the BSV blockchain, but I doubt that they have been implemented on top of the real Bitcoin blockchain. If they had been, there would be a LOT more noise. So it's just a future dream.
