Could have been switched to softer wood. Any time you have FPS is an opportunity to switch something. Hollywood or I see it to believe it even then I could be tricked. Stay frosty folks! Don’t focus on one thing too much either.
It's not wood. It's a stone slab.

The fact that broke the stone isn't what's amazing. His speed is what we're talking about. If you notice, he jumps on the stone slab a few times before setting it in place. He does that to create microfractures which makes it easier to break. But like I said, that he broke it isn't real special. The speed in which he broke it is.
