I can't log in, No NIP-07 extension was detected. Nos2x Brave. Maybe you can use the extension symbol "puzzle"
Thanks for letting me know, I’ll take a look. All the testing I was doing was with Alby and it seemed fine. Will get Nos2x running locally and see if I can find out where the differences are coming from.
Really excited for this project to share/discover books through nostr! Is there any plan to bulk import from Amazon or goodreads? It's going to take forever to add my books one by one lol
Awesome, glad you’re looking forward to it. Yes indeed, I will first probably tackle GoodReads import as that is the most common but maybe will expand out of there. It was actually next up on my to-do list but I’m also thinking about reading challenges as a good next step.
Follow up question - is there a way to share reviews as nostr events that will appear in other clients?

Forgot, there is an automatic kind1 (regular text note) generated when you start reading or finish (and review) a book in the app. It is super simple, not exactly sharing of reviews, but similar.
Here is an example:

Do I need to do something to post these notes? I added a few books I've read recently, marked them as finished, and reviewed one of them, but I don't see a note like that in my history on any other client
Interesting, they should be automatic. It only happens when you move the book from your “want to read” shelves to “currently reading” and then again when you move from “currently reading” to “finished”. Did you add them as already complete and then just review from the reviews page?
Yes I added them as already complete. I'll move them between shelves and see if it gets generated
I’m thinking maybe add it as a toggle to some of the other pages (like review) so you can choose to trigger a notification when you like rather than automatically. Also want to make sure I add the ability to edit the message as well. Current notifications are pretty basic.
Protip: if you add a book as "currently reading" then update it to finished openlibrarian will send out a note that you've finished the book and your rating. Great way to share/discover books on nostr!
