Is the nostr:npub1ve8qwrlztemdmnh62jffcr0y9m9dpqgqjdg8ufx7gc3qw5wdk74qyv9ka6 worth the cost?

Since it’s not a nostr client I’m less inclined to jump onboard.

Nostr is the public square.

Orange Pill App is the private club.

Very different 😉

Couldn’t you just integrate the nostr protocol while still charging the premium?

“While still charging a premium”. Passive aggressive much?

Not at all. Paying a premium for premium offerings is V4V

Hasn't got me a single date :( ;)

Lol. Are people using it like a dating app? 😅

In my opinion yes. I did the lifetime membership. The ability to connect with Bitcoiners is worth it. The community is solid and we help each other out by answering questions, reading articles, sharing experiences with different bitcoin companies, etc. I have no regrets in joining.

Nice! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. As a user of both nostr and the OPA, do you use the two in different ways? Like one to find meetups and local businesses, and one for a secure digital footprint and media?

It’s worth it for some. I don’t like the compromise on Opsec but that’s just a personal thing

we don't do KYC, nor sell ads.. you can be as anon as you like.

My worry isn’t the app. I have full trust in you guys. It’s the nefarious users that might use it to target bitcoiners for sinister reasons.

I feel that. But I’m willing to doxx myself for some irl friendships.

Speaking as someone who has met some fantastic Bitcoiners through OPA, and now have meetups to go to on a regular basis, I think it's worth it.

Without a doubt. It actually feels like a well thought out app instead of a half baked client.

How are you using it? I’m curious to know what your experience has been so far.
