Cool trick, you can do this with the command line tool, FFMPEG, and build a little script with ChatGPT so you can drag and drop audio extract any video file you like in an instant.

I’ve been doing this to create transcriptions and I don’t have to open any programs or anything, I just have an icon on my dock that I drag files to. It’s gold.

What OS are you using? Might be able to make you one real fast (I don’t have Windows FYI so its much harder to troubleshoot)

Here is a video I did to do the full transcription, but extracting the audio is the first step…

Lol no. I think Ai is the most important thing for Bitcoiners to take advantage of though and I was failing to find a good source for open source and self hosting.

Ai Unchained is a roughly once a week show that I’m doing to force my shift toward video work and to make my Ai exploration sustainable, but Bitcoin Audible is always the main show and isn’t going anywhere. 😘

It can definitely work, I just can’t troubleshoot the steps without a VM.

I could try to throw something together this afternoon though and we can see what we come up with. It would only take a simple installation of FFMPEG and maybe a traditional bash script.

I’ll look into it and get back to you. Could be a fun, 30 minute project or so.
