'People look for the shortcut, the hack.

And if you came here looking for that, you won't find it.

The shortcut is a lie. The hack doesn't get you there.

And if you wanna take the easy road it won't take you to where you wanna be:

Stronger, smarter, faster, healthier, better, free.

To reach goals and overcome obstacles and be the best version of you possible will not happen by itself.

It will not happen cutting corners, taking shortcuts or looking for the easy way.

There is no easy way.

There is only hard work, late nights, early mornings

Practice, rehearsal, repetition, study, sweat, blood, toil, frustration, and discipline.

There must be discipline.'

~Jocko Willink

One of my favorite quotes of the guy.

Discipline equals freedom.

In my opinion it depends on what you would like to shortcut.

If you want to shortcut time it might be possible, but it is not possible to shortcut effort.

If you work more than other people, you might reach things faster. So you found a shortcut. But the effort and sweat must be put in!

80/20 rule sometimes applies. Take tactical short cuts.

Well on point! But it is still effort, and brainwork! No free lunch!

Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of working smart, not hard.

But most important things in my life come only after tremendous amount of effort put in.

If you work more than others it's not a shortcut. Just hard work.

Okay. But to be fair, hard work is not enough either. You have to do meaningful thing. My favorite quite about this is:

"Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation."

So, you need to be prepared (hard work) and find an opportunity to be successful.
