that's the point. a browser, where you decide what sites to hit, is just as "dangerous" as some random app you download off f-droid that has little to no moderation.
OK, that's true. If you're worried about malicious apps the browser has some advantages (though the ability of the devs to push updates is a definite disadvantage). I thought you were talking about censorship.
