Replying to Nobody

“more dangerous and challenging than it has been in decades… There’s China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. These things aren’t just happening far away, they impact us here at home.”

For any other parents who are living in the UK, keep in mind that infrastructural decline can—depending on the speed at which geopolitical tensions continue to escalate and the rate of attrition in our nation's natural resources—take nearly a decade, or possibly longer. Our nation and it's leaders, most certainly, do not possess significant enough resources or economic competency to grant our children the humble lives that so very much deserve. Or, at least, they are undoubtedbly not willing to share with us these resources that I speak of. If this war truly does continue to last and spread to various European and Western nations for the next 5-10+ years, many of our children will be eligible for Mr. Sunak's proposed plan for conscription.

That being said, everyone should start their own garden and begin stockpiling long lasting foods and water. And perhaps compose a backup plan which includes leaving the country. I currently reside in London. I, for one, have already spoken to my cousin and his wife in Switzerland about, potentially, moving in with them.

"This is a great country but generations of young people have not had the opportunities or experience they deserve and there are forces trying to divide our society in this increasingly uncertain world."

The hypocrisy of this statement—which was spoken by our most trusted PM—is truly remarkable. Speaking of "opportunities or experiences" that he wishes to give our young'uns while simultaneously forcing them into active service into a military which exists solely to serve a government that many of them openly (and rightfully) despise. Do not fall for their false sympathy and don't let our children suffer the consequences. No one should have to forcefully experience the horrors of war.

Lol. Alright, I'm finished. 😅🫂

My mate (a fellow hodler) and his wife (a total NPC) were over my house a few days ago and we were discussing the current market conditions, Sunak's plans for military conscription, the Russia-Ukraine and Palestine-Israel conflicts among other more enjoyable things. Didn't want to ruin our night 😅. Lol. Sorry, but I'm not in the mood to explain all of this again. In short, she just showed a complete lack of interest in all of those things I just listed and everything in the note below 🤷‍♂️.

I was talking to my ex about Bitcoin and the state of the world a few years ago. She just said I don’t like to think about this stuff I just want to have fun. Some people can’t be helped 🤷‍♂️

Yea, they don't know how to manage the stress of it all. My friend agrees with me on almost everything that I mentioned. He's tried to convince her on occasion, as well. It's quite disappointing. Seems completely mental to think in such a manner because I don't think they can fully comprehend the repercussions that such a great level of ignorance will have in the future, and they don't wish to feel like fools by admitting so. Forgot to mention that my mate and his wife already have two kids and are workin' on having a third. 😅🤷‍♂️

I need to be frank about this, but I see a significant amount of this happy-go-lucky naivety from nostr users as well. Lol. They're just always saying the same thing every day: "GM nostriches!" and "GN nostriches!" and "Bitcoin fixes this!" and "To the moon!"

This doesn't bore you folk after a while 😅😏?

Yeah some of that talk gets annoying. I admit that I’ve done a little bit of that but I try to only do it when I really feel it’s helpful.

But your mate sounds like he lets his wife dictate too much when it comes to finances. He is ultimately responsible for his family and if things go bad, it’s going to be on him to fix it later.

No, he does not. He dictates most of their financial decisions. She just listens to him because she's unable to consider a better, more beneficial, alternative. He's the reason why their family is living so bloody comfortably. The sole reason why he doesn't listen to her when it comes to financial matters.
