“more dangerous and challenging than it has been in decades… There’s China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. These things aren’t just happening far away, they impact us here at home.”
For any other parents who are living in the UK, keep in mind that infrastructural decline can—depending on the speed at which geopolitical tensions continue to escalate and the rate of attrition in our nation's natural resources—take nearly a decade, or possibly longer. Our nation and it's leaders, most certainly, do not possess significant enough resources or economic competency to grant our children the humble lives that so very much deserve. Or, at least, they are undoubtedbly not willing to share with us these resources that I speak of. If this war truly does continue to last and spread to various European and Western nations for the next 5-10+ years, many of our children will be eligible for Mr. Sunak's proposed plan for conscription.
That being said, everyone should start their own garden and begin stockpiling long lasting foods and water. And perhaps compose a backup plan which includes leaving the country. I currently reside in London. I, for one, have already spoken to my cousin and his wife in Switzerland about, potentially, moving in with them.
"This is a great country but generations of young people have not had the opportunities or experience they deserve and there are forces trying to divide our society in this increasingly uncertain world."
The hypocrisy of this statement—which was spoken by our most trusted PM—is truly remarkable. Speaking of "opportunities or experiences" that he wishes to give our young'uns while simultaneously forcing them into active service into a military which exists solely to serve a government that many of them openly (and rightfully) despise. Do not fall for their false sympathy and don't let our children suffer the consequences. No one should have to forcefully experience the horrors of war.
Lol. Alright, I'm finished. 😅🫂
