I need a bitcoin/lightning node and not a home server with loads of non bitcoin related software. The update from umbrel 0.5 to 1.0 on my Linux mini computer was a pain in the ass. So I dumped umbrel in the end.

Setting it up was super easy. First thing I noticed was that there is not as much non bitcoin related software available as on my umbrel node. Bitcoin core needs to sync the blockchain again but that's no biggie.
