I think they are different use cases.

- Seed + PP more for individual savings

- Multisig more for business or individual savings with multiple people involved

Different use cases i suppose, even if they can overlap in some of them.

I dunno, I don't think there's really a debate. Everyone's risk profile is going to be different, so the appropriate security framework is going to depend on the individual.

Been playing a bit with both, recently.

Almost always I'd say multisig. Have someone you trust (or a lot of someones) and use them for 2 way recovery, inheritance, etc. If you don't have someone you trust, then how you store your bitcoin isn't your biggest problem 🙄
