1 database, I don't see anyone using multiple accounts on 1 device where they wouldn't want to let one account see the others dm's(it's the same end user so they have access anyway)
The estimation is that 20% of our users use with multiple accounts.

What I mean though is if I'm using multiple accounts then the accounts are all mine right, there is no extra passcode on each account stopping me from just switching. So having a separate db would be much wasted space imo
