I would try two clients that aren't on #ios to test this.
A lot of what I see indicates to me #Apple clients are the outliers.
I may be wrong but I'd be interested to see you test it.
I don't own any apple devices so I can't.
I use Primal on Android but will try another non-ios client to test this. Will report back. Thank you much.

Amethyst appears to sync perfectly. Must be an issue with #ios or #damus.
I'm beginning to think so. I've only ever seen #Apple users use #Damus so I can't tell which.
#amethyst is hard to beat. I haven't had any issues with it in any way.
