I wish I could say that #MichaelSaylor is wrong when he says that #Bitcoin is not a currency but rather the best property one can own (not that I don’t want #BTC to be the best investment) but the facts rule in his favor. What are the odds for Bitcoin to be adopted as a global currency in the next decade? I would say not very high. Bitcoin is likely to be adopted as a global reserve asset though.

I’m pretty sure this is simply a confusion of terms. Saylor didn’t say BTC isn’t money, he said it isn’t a currency… those terms are not synonymous although many think them to be.

I know Saylor said many times that #Bitcoin is money but he also recently said that Bitcoin is not a medium of exchange meaning it is not money. #MichaelSaylor is eloquent and thought-provoking but he also contradicts himself on many points.
