The upcoming Google Pixel 8's are rumored to receive security patches for 7 years. This would be an increase of 2 additional years over the current models.

5 years is already more that the android competition has. 7years would be even better. Nice. 😊

I also like their partnership with iFixit... So Cheap OEM parts and great repair guides. ☺️
