Did this logo for a friend’s clothing business that he swore he was going to start. “All that’s left is just to have the perfect logo”.
Months later, he still hasn’t paid me. He never even asked for the final files to use with the printer. I’ve tried reaching out to him to see what’s up.
If I had a sat for every time someone has seen my tattoos and shirts and told me about how they want to start a clothing company. Ugh

You done got scammed.
Always deliver low-resolution examples prior to payment. Make sure they're not useable.
Demand half up front.
Do not deliver final product until payment is settled.
He’s only got the low res files at this point. He’s been a friend for awhile now so I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, plus he gave me $100 up front to start.
I figured that was good, since I’ve known him for awhile. Lesson learned!
The thing that puzzles me is why he hasn’t asked for the final files - all he has is some 72dpi jpegs. Just zero contact in weeks.

Personally, I wouldn't go out of the way for him again. Definitely don't do business with him again.
