Protip: if you come to Costa Rica, make sure you have a lightning wallet where you can enter the amount in colones. Some vendors don’t generate invoices and just ask you to pay an amount in colones to their Bitcoin Jungle lightning address QR code.

The SatsPrice app by nostr:nprofile1qqszw70nm86zcl0wzlcwd0xulzdgl82e95v78vdm6fl0rnlarfle35gqttkd5 is a great tool to keep on your phone if you need to calculate exchange rates in various currencies.

Nice, but easier to just have it built into the wallet. I’d recommend installing the Bitcoin Jungle app and using that while here when buying from vendors that just display their Bitcoin Jungle QR code for accepting payments. At least that’s what I’ve been doing.
